Second Life Bootcamp Pre-Conference session on Sunday was excellent. Here I am on the OLN property learning about all the educational opportunities that await you if you can only learn to walk and fly!
I have attended presentations on Second Life before, but Boot Camp from University of Cincinnati was a great blend of logistical SL skills and a focus on the pedagogy supporting the use in various applications. We are all interested in how this will support student learning and after this presentation, I can start understanding how we can make these connections for students and for our colleagues.
I'd actually like to use this initially to do some virtual advising. Is anyone out there using Second Life for advising that I could talk with about your process and success?? cward@uakron.edu
